I am considering options to acquire depth information on a flat of small plants (10" by 20") and am considering the THREE for a fixed application using a single scan at a distance of around 800mm to the surface. All that is required is collecting the scan using the api, the conversion to a depth map would be on me.
My questions are:
- Would plants be a candidate for a fixed single scan application a good deal of height variation in the scan?
- Would a slighter greater distance to around 900mm be possible in single scan mode, allowing a slightly bigger scan area.
